IABA will have its annual gathering (AGM) at the furnace festival in Woodford Co Galway. This offers blacksmiths the opportunity to forge iron made over the weekend by teams of iron makers from all over the world. This is a great opportunity meet smiths and iron makers in a social atmosphere while exchanging skills.
The festival will run an iron making course that week 19/23rd run by Lee Sauder https://www.leesauder.com/ there might still be some spaces left on the course, if interested contact Paul Rondelez to book your place if still available.
